Subject: AMBER: Gaussian 98 Installation

Dear Amber Members,

I am trying to install Gaussian 98, Rev.A7 into a P3 Linux machine which
runs under RedHat 9. Is it possible to install this version to a RedHat 9
without getting the new version? (I guess Gaussian 98,Rev.A11 was the next
one after Rev.A7) I have all the programs/blass libraries needed. I have
the pgf77 compiler, the atlas/blass libraries for P3 which I downloaded
from http://www.netlib.org/atlas/archives/linux/ website. And while I
tried to compile it, it gave an error.

If anybody experienced the same problem and solved it somehow, I will
greatly appreciate to hear his/her solution.
