If you want your programs run in multiple processors, you need to have MPI
(many variants are there). MPI will make your programs run in multiple
processors, by doing so, your programs will run faster than they run in
single processor.

System requirements depends on your jobs and how many users you are going to
have for AMBER? Anyway your system requirements seems to be O.K.
