cpp is the c pre-processor, and I would guess that
you've got it. Look in your MACHINE file and check
that it's pointing to the right place.

Amber users:

I am trying to compile on a beowulf cluster/redhat and don't have cpp.
Is this just a c++ compiler and if so, can i use something else like g++?
