Making Links to the EF-Hand Calcium-Binding Proteins Data Library

The EF-Hand Calcium-Binding Proteins Data Library (CaBP-DL) consists of two types of information: 1) Information that is stored in a relational database and written to browsable HTML pages on a regular schedule, and 2) information that is stored solely in HTML pages. Links can be made to both types of information. However, the easiest method of linking is slightly different for the two types:

Linking to Information Stored in The Relational Database:
All information about specific proteins is included on the protein home pages, or is linked to from these pages. If you would like to link to all the information about a particular protein, link to that protein's home page (for example: http://structbio.vanderbilt.edu/cabp_database/general/prot_pages/calmod.html links to the home page for calmodulin). If you would like to link to a specific type of information about a protein, follow the navigational links on the protein's home page to find the correct URL.
Linking to Information Stored Solely in HTML Pages:
Make links directly to the page that contains this information.

The database underlying the data library can also be accessed via various search forms. It is not possible to link directly to the pages that result from these searches. If you have a need to make such a link, please contact the library administrator for assistance.
