General Effects of the Mutation:

• This mutant causes a dose-suppressible temperature sensitive phenotype in Saccharomyces cerevisiae in which it is the only form of calmodulin. Unlike most of the other Phe mutants in this series, this phenotype is only suppressed by high calcium to a very limited extent (InfoCard)
