Nashville Events and Attractions
There is a list of Nashville Events and Attractions in the CaBP19 Program, however we seemed to have forgotten to include a bit of Nasvhille nightlife in the list. Here is a (very short) list of historic "Nashville Haunts."
- The Exit/In and The End - This pair of dive bars are as legendary in underground rock as the Grand Ole Opry and Bluebird Cafe are in country music. Some of today's most popular bands stopped by the Exit/In on their way to fame. It's located in the Elliston Place area, around 22nd Avenue, which is a quick walk from Vanderbilt University.
- Cafe Coco - Nashville's 24-hour coffee house and restaurant, Coco's is located immediately behind the Exit/In and is the place to be after a show. The java is excellent as are the food and the ambience. It's unique, but not exclusive.
- 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill - This dive bar remains one of Nashville's best kept secrets and is located at the corner of 3rd Avenue South and Lindsley Avenue just south of Broadway in downtown Nashville.
- Lonnie's Western Room - Voted Nashville's #1 karaoke bar, Lonnie's is located in legendary Printers' Alley and is one of the most fun places to spend a night in the whole of Nashville. The bartenders are aspiring singers who oblige with karaoke renditions of modern and classic country tunes alongside the bar's more adventurous clientele. All patrons are invited to sign up to sing a song and for a nominal fee you can take home a videotape of yourself singing in Nashville.
