We have to reply with the "insufficient information" complaint again.
You have narrowed down the problem a lot (it is neither pmemd-specific nor
does it necessarily involve parallel libraries). But there is no information
about how you configured sander, no information about which job failed (one of
the test cases? which one?), and so on.

If you think about it, you will surely realize that saying "sander gives
segmentation fault" is not going to elicit much useful help.
