I guess you mean computing node with 2 CPUs or 8 cores.
Intel has just released their new CPU named Nelahem, which also has
memory controller integrated.
But in my opinion, clock is more important than architecture, comparing
Intel and AMD. So I prefer Intel. And the second factor is the 2nd level
cache management. Intel also performs better than AMD.
