According to Sun, the Ultra 40 M2 Workstation has "Up to two dual-core
AMD Opteron processors" so is not sparc. It might be worth trying the
sparc option nonetheless if you get no conclusive answer and want to
experiment. You could also try editing the resulting config and remove
any flags like -sparc.
