Dear Patrick,

If you can get a Fortran 95 compiler running on the machine then yes Amber
(I assume 9.0) should work. In all likelyhood g95 should work (see
http://www.g95.org/) then try a simple configuration for g95 linux.

./configure -static g95
make

And see if it works.

All the best
Ross

Subject: AMBER: Would amber work with Linspire 6.0?

Hello All,

I am new to the board and would like to ask a quick question. I am currently
using Linspire 6.0 http://www.linspire.com/ , a windows interface that runs
on Linux, and would like to know if AMBER is compatible with this setup.

Thanks
