It would certainly be helpful to have more information: what sorts of tests?
What arguments did you give to configure? What version of LAPACK are you
using? Which specific tests failed? Which version of Amber are you using?
etc.,etc.

I don't understand what this last statement means. What sort of manual test
did you do?
