right.. in continuation to my previous mails...

what i have done till date are the following:
1. installed debian
2. installed gfortran, gcc
3. tried to make serial amber9
4. got the following errors similar to the following
WcCreate.h:762: error: expected ')' before 'int'
WcCreate.h:931: error: expected ')' before 'XtPointer'
WcCreate.h:932: error: expected ')' before '*' token
WcActCB.c:174: error: expected declaration specifiers before 'Widget'
WcActCB.c:174: error: expected declaration specifiers before 'XEvent'
WcActCB.c:174: error: expected declaration specifiers before 'Cardinal'
etc etc
5. mailed you people..

versions of compilers used
gfortran : GNU Fortran 95 (GCC) 4.1.2 20061020
g++ : g++ (GCC) 4.1.2 20061020
gcc : gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20061020

for your convenience the i have redirected the stderr to stderr.out (
stderr.out.tar.gz) and attached it
the stdout and stderr combined is in std.out.tar.gz
