It's probably worth a compiler upgrade. This build is over two years old, and
Intel had lots of problems with early itanium fortran compilers. My
recollection (I hope others with better knowledge will pitch in here) is that
version 8.1.025 was OK for ia64. We are using 9.0.021 or 9.0.026 on
itaniums here.
