Dear Angelo,
There are a lot of Video Capture programs which lets someone to create a
movie file. I used one before in XP, and I think the name was River Past.
In an SGI machine, I think it has its own video capture program. And I am
sure there are some programs in linux, which lets u capture the screen in
a movie file. Search google and u will see it. It is a powerful way of
creating movie files for presentations. U can move, rotate, zoom... And
everything that is seen on the monitor will be captured.
Best,
