Hi
I am trying to intall Amber 8.0 on a AMD x2 4200 computer running Fedora
Core 4 in 64 Bit. i have installed the intel fortran complilers 8.1 and 9.0
( l_fce_pc_8.1.033 and l_fc_c_9.0.031 ). The current version installed is
8.1.
When i run the make serial command i get the following:
[root_at_andrepc src]# ./configure ifort
AMBERHOME is set to /usr/local/amber8
Setting up Amber configuration file for architecture: ifort
Using parallel communications library: none
The MKL_HOME environment variable is not defined.
The MKL is recommended for optimal performance.
The configuration file, config.h, was successfully created.
[root_at_andrepc src]# make serial

I am unable to work out what -lm and -lc is and where it is missing from.
Does anyone know what they are and how to solve this problem?
I am running Fedora Core 4 (kernel 2.6.11). The cpu is an AMD X2 4200 with
2x 512 MB RAM. Am using the l_fce_pc_8.1.033 compiler (intel fortran V 8.1).
I am not running a Maths Kernel Libary.
Thanks for any help.
