Subject: AMBER: amber 8

dear amber8 user,

i want to install amber8 on my single processor (xeon). i already follow
the readme.txt (provided by amber cdrom)... but i failed..

i try to install amber8 in directory /usr/local/amber8.. what i did is just
:-

set AMBERHOME=/usr/local/amber8
export AMBERHOME

then in /amber8/src

i do ./configure ifort

and do 'make serial' in /amber8/src

but then, there is an error msg..showed that i failed to install the amber8
in my machine...can somebody help me to install this amber8 in my machine
