Subject: AMBER: MPICH problem

dear amber user,

i try to install my mpich-1.2.6 to my HP proliant ML 150 series.. but it
failed. for your information i used Redhat Linux AS enterprise edition.
what i did is just :-

1. i do './configure --prefix=/usr/local/mpich-1.2.6
2. i do 'make'
3. i do 'make install'

the error msg is like this:-

cp: `/usr/local/mpich-1.2.6/bin/tarch' and
| `/usr/local/mpich-1.2.6/bin/tarch' are the same file
| **Error copying file /usr/local/mpich-1.2.6/bin/tarch to
| /usr/local/mpich-1.2.6/bin/tarch **
| make: *** [install] Error 1

someone ask me to delete the directory.. and i already deleted it.. and
untar it again but when i do make install it's still show the same error
msg...

can you all help me?
