Subject: AMBER: install RESP

Dear Sir,
         I am writing to you because I have a problem when I try to
 install RESP. When I write "make install" or "make resp" , the
following error appears
 
 g77 -O6 -o resp
 
resp.o ../lib/mexit.o ../lib/amopen.o ../lib/lapack.o ../lib/resp.o /home/
 gusp/Doc/RESP/plep/src/Machine/linux_g77/sys.a -lm
 ../lib/mexit.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
 
  I have already wrote to the people that develop RED, and told me to
 execute "make clean".
  If i write "make clean", this happends:
 
 Doc/RESP/plep/src/resp #make clean
 ../Clean resp
 make: execvp: ../Clean: Permiso denegado
 make: *** [clean] Error 127
 
 Please , if you know why can this be happening , write me
