This is almost certainly the "wrong" answer. I have no way of knowing
which compiler this is, but given its location and the fact that is does
not recognize the Xc and other options strongly suggests that it not the
Sun compiler, which is the one that xmkmf is configured for. What happens
if you remove /usr/local/bin from your PATH variable?
