Hi John,

Sounds to me like the shell in which you are compiling amber does not have
the Intel compiler binary directory in it's path. Are you sure that if you
type ifort in this shell it works? Try doing

source /opt/intel_fc_80/bin/ifortvars.sh
source /opt/intel_cc_80/bin/iccvars.sh

Then do make serial again.
