You need to specify a keyword before this that is recognized as a command.
Perhaps trajin was missing or is misspelled?

trajin filename.mdcrd

(is your trajectory named filename.mdcrd??? If you have a couple of
trajectory files named mdcrd.1 mdcrd.2

trajin mdcrd.1
trajin mdcrd.2

followed by the other commands.

Note that the ptraj executable should not be called rdparm or different
functionality is run (i.e. a different interface).
