Hi All
I see there is a fair amount of bandwidth on the opteron stuff. We have
4 dual 240's and a dual 244 here all running redhat 8.0.95 g77/gcc/lam
compiled so here are the numbers for our favourite benchmarks.
I also have a port of g98 to 64-bit so numbers for that and the 32-bit
ifc compiled are available on request. We also have some very
preliminary NWCHEM numbers as well.
JAC time per step
hammer64 1.4Ghz Opteron RH 8.0.95 g77/atlas 1
1.07
2 0.55
4 0.31
8 0.17 (6.29)
1.8Ghz Opteron 2
0.44
The size of the JAC system is somewhat small by today's standards so
here is a more relevant comparison, opteron is g77_atlas 64/bit
binaries, mp2200's are the ifc 32bit
