Dear Amber list members,

i am sorry if i bother u by asking very basic questions. i am relatively
new to Molecular dynamics and Molecuylar Mechanics.

can anybody tell me ---

        what exactly is a force field (starting from definition) ?
        where it is used ?
        applications?
        how it is computed ?
        What kind of role it plays in Energy minimization ?
