Chris,

There is a new link on the Amber web page, under the
"Amber-related links" heading, about running on NEC platforms.
If you click on that, you will see that you can download a tar
file with appropriate NEC machine files and instructions. These
were tested on the NEC SX6; if you have any issues building on
the SX5, please let us know.
