Subject: Compilation on RedHat-7.2 with MPICH

Hi all,

I have an error when I try to compile AMBER7 on a Linux/INTEL cluster running RedHat-7.2 and MPICH-1.2.0 (RedHat's mpich RPM). I linked "Machine.g77_mpich" as MACHINE file. The error message is:

"error: Cant find -l/usr/share/mpi/bin" during sander compilation step of "make install.parallel".

It seems to be a reference to MPICH_LIB environnment variable. I pointed it to that directory because it works that way with my SGI Origin200 server (running IRIX) that I have already successfully installed (with some of you's help...)!

Can anyone tell me which value I should give to that variable to make everything compile normally?

Vincent.
