Subject: Dual AMD motherboards

Hi,

Has anyone in the community tried (and succeeded) in running
Linux-SMP on the newish ASUS A7M266-D Dual Athlon motherboard?
I have tried 3 different kernels (2.4.7-10, 2.4.8, 2.5.6) without
success. All hang very early in the boot with APIC related problems.

I can install/boot/run uniprocessor Linux (and dual processor
Win2K PRO). Linux-SMP runs fine on Tyan 2462 dual AMD boards.
