Subject: disk file larger than 2 GB

Dear Amber users,

I have encountered such a problem in calculate charges
with GAMESS, when the size of the temperary file (F08.dat)
is exceeding 2 GB, our linux system seems dead.
Our hard disk has enough space (20 GB).
 
So it seems to me that the linux system only allows the
size of one single file less than 2 GB.

It is true ? How can I increase the limit?
