making a trajectory into a movie with dino
These are my notes from Jarrod's instructions. They presume that you have already
done your docking (or other) trajectory, and are able to visualize it in dino, using the instructions
on this page.
- scripts are in ~/jsmith/lynn/water16/
I plan to copy them into the wisdom or software directory
- once you have a trajectory working in DINO;
(see Jarrod's dino page)
- copy, edit and use mktrajscr to create the dino script which
will output one .png image file per frame
this can be run as, e.g. 'dino.test -s playtest.scr'
- copy, edit and use annotate to translate .png files
into .pnm files (and optionally add text to frames)
- copy, edit and use mpeg.param as input to
/sb/apps/linux/mpeg_encode to make mpeg file
