To Sanders Lab Main Menu

Much of the work of the Sanders lab is paid with US tax dollars,

administered as research grants through the US National Institutes of Health

and the National Science Foundation. We are truly grateful for this support

and are absolutely committed to making sure the public gets the best

possible return on their investments in terms of scientific knowledge

generated, new insights into disease mechanisms and treatments,

new technologies developed and made freely available, training of the next

generation of scientists, transactions with companies from whom we

purchase research supplies and equipment, and gainful employment

of project staff.

We also appreciate current support for Alzheimer's research from the

Bright Focus Foundation and previous support from the

Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association,

the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and AMGEN.
