Bock research honored by Journal of Biological Chemistry

CSB Investigator Paul Bock and his Vanderbilt colleague Ingrid Verhamme have been honored by the Journal of Biological Chemistry. Their paper, Rapid binding of plasminogen to streptokinase in a catalytic complex reveals a three-step mechanism has been designated as one of the best papers published by the JBC in 2014.

JBC editors selected only twenty-one papers from thousands published last year. One paper was chosen from each JBC affinity group. The Bock paper was chosen to represent the Enzymology Affinity Group as it characterizes the journal’s mission of publishing the very best papers in biological chemistry.

Congratulations Professor Bock!
