Subject: [AMBER] IMPORTANT INFO: Regarding Anonymous postings to the AMBER mailing list.

Dear All AMBER Mailing list subscribers,

There have been an increasing number of people posting anonymously to the
AMBER mailing list of late. Since this list is a community list for
scientific discussion between researchers who share common interests in
Molecular simulation using the AMBER software, so posting anonymously is
strongly discouraged.

While we appreciate that users like to have multiple email addresses, and
indeed ones that are specific to the AMBER mailing list, this is leading to
the posting of messages by people who are clearly hiding their identity from
other members of the list.

Hence in future all users of the list who have email addresses that do not
readily translate to their identity (first / last name or ID + institution
etc) are encouraged to sign their message with their first and last names as
well as institution information.

Users who deliberately post anonymous emails to the list will have their
messages subject to moderation.

All the best
Ross
