Dear Amber Community,

After increasing MAXVASTATE and PSCUTOFF in define.h, I tried recompiling
bondtype.C by "gcc bondtype.C" I got a couple pages of this:

>*, std::vector<std::vector<Point, std::allocator<Point> >,
std::allocator<std::vector<Point, std::allocator<Point> > > > >,
std::vector<Point, std::allocator<Point> > const&)]+0x4aa): undefined reference
to `__cxa_end_catch'
/tmp/ccWBws3B.o: In function `std::vector<int, std::allocator<int>
>::_M_insert_aux(__gnu_cxx::__normal_iterator<int*, std::vector<int,
std::allocator<int> > >, int const&)':
bondtype.C:(.text._ZNSt6vectorIiSaIiEE13_M_insert_auxEN9__gnu_cxx17__normal_iteratorIPiS1_EERKi[std::vector<int,
std::allocator<int> >::_M_insert_aux(__gnu_cxx::__normal_iterator<int*,
std::vector<int, std::allocator<int> > >, int const&)]+0x137): undefined
reference to `std::__throw_length_error(char const*)'
/tmp/ccWBws3B.o:(.eh_frame+0x13): undefined reference to `__gxx_personality_v0'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I'm a novice Linux user and I am running SuSE 10.1 on an AMD 64 and this is
Amber 8. What are some things I can try to fix whatever may be wrong.

Thanks
SETH
