I looks like you have a corrupted prep.c file, probably because bugfix.12 was
not applied correctly. You can easily check this by looking at line 192
of prep.c. My best guess is that somehow the ">" sign in the patch was
replaced with some html thing like ">". But in the absence of more
information, I cannot be sure.

Please look at your prep.c file, before and after applying bugfix.12. You
should probably look at the file "bugfix.all" as well, to see if it looks OK.
