Subject: AMBER: problem with installation, or bug?

Dear AMBER community,

Some researchers in my group have had problems with minimizations on AMBER 8
creating blank output files. The jobs appear to be run normally, but then
all of the output files are blank. However, when the same jobs are submitted
using AMBER 7, the output is normal. We are worried that we may have made
some mistake in installing AMBER 8. Is there a bug in AMBER 8 that creates
blank output files for minimizations sometimes, or did we do something wrong
in installation?

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
