Subject: AMBER: How to patch the configure script (macosx)

Regarding the darwin_configure_patch from http://amber.scripps.edu/macos.html, how do you patch your existing Amber8 configure script with this update? Is there a command that will perform the update, or should the + lines in darwin_configure_patch be added to configure manually?
