Subject: AMBER: Istallation AMBER8

Dear colleagues,

January,2006 we have obtained the new version of ABER8 which we have
tried to install on the SUN FIRE 6800/3800 of our computational center.

We have used the installation information in the manual and also the
remarks concerning SUN machines given in

    http://amber.scipps.edu/sunos.html

The compilation procedure with "make" generates 1 error. The machine
output after the compilation was
