Subject: AMBER: molsuf failure with too many intersecting cusps

On occasion, I get failures with molsurf when it encounters more than 4
cusps.

The error message is "two [sic] many intersecting cusps" and from the code,
it appears that this is a feature, not a bug. Does anyone have any
workarounds for this?
